Question: Help with Grooming Please?

Hi There:
I recently rescued a Chinese Crested. He is 2.5 yrs old and his grooming before he came to me was very poor. He has tonnes of blackheads and dry patches all over (mostly his back and knees). Basically wanting to know what the best shampoo and moisturizer is to use on him and how often I should bathe him. I took him to a couple groomers but they were not familiar with the breed. One suggested I use an anti-fungal shampoo and another one suggested I go to internet for answers Voila here I am. Help Please. I understand that they can have allergies to Lanolin so I'm very hesitant to just try a couple brands without some advice. Pet Store Groomer suggested an all natural shampoo called Tropiclean and Dr. Maggie Paw Protector. I bought it and have used it twice but still want advice from real crested owners.(P.S. I'm in Canada if that makes a difference for brands, etc..)

Answer: I worked for a Chinese Crested breeder for 2 years grooming show dogs. For the hairless we used PetSilk shampoo, you can buy it online. The skin has to stay moisturized, you can use human hand lotion, unscented, and one for sensitive skin. Jergens makes a good one. We bathed ours every week and kept them lotioned daily. She popped the blackheads, but you can leave them if you don't mind them. Once she popped them she used diaper rash cream to help clear up the red spots and soothe the skin.

Answer: Jordan and Eric Staal were arrested in May of 2007 near a resort in Minnesota as part of Eric's bachelor party. Eric was charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process. Jordan was charged with consumption of alcohol as a minor.

Basically, they were at Eric's bachelor party, they got tossed from the place they were staying, they went out near the main highway and started causing trouble. In the grand scale of professional incidents, it was an absolute nothing incident. A couple of drunk kids causing some headaches.

Which Staal brother is your favourite player? Eric (Hurricanes), Marc (Rangers), or Jordan (Pittsburgh). I would have to say that mine is Jordan, I think he has a lot of great potential.

Answer: Eric is the most boring, all he does is score goals without character. Jordan has a place in my heart during that comeback against DET, but Marc is my favorite because he is a smart young D-man that can HIT.
