Think vancouver will come out on top. They have Luongo and he is cup hungry. Vetrans on D and 2 solid lines that can put it away on a regular basis.

The Hawks are a young fast team. with lots of talent, but they lack the type of goaltending that is required for the playoffs.

I think if the Hawks skate well and dont take penalties and make the canucks take pentalties. That will determine the outcome.

Nikolai Khabibulin has a Stanley Cup ring, and Chicago's team GAA (top 5) is lower than Vancouver's. Khabibulin was also very popular at the trade deadline by teams looking for a playoff goaltender.

In the end it comes down to experience. Khabibulin has 31 playoff wins....Luongo has 5.

They split the season series, and with Chicago having home ice advantage, I think they pull it off in 6

The number of players on the Vancouver roster who played past the 2nd round? TWO - Sundin and Demitra, and neither has played a game in the Stanley Cup final

The number of players on the Chicago roster who have won Stanley Cup rings (you need to make it to the finals to do that) THREE - Khabibulin, Andrew Ladd, and Sami Pahlsson - who has played in 2 Stanley Cup finals. Martin Havlat, Patrick Sharp and Brian Campbell have also played in the 3rd round of the playoffs.

So...two Canucks have made it past the 2nd round (and no trips to the final). 6 Black Hawks have made it past the 2nd round (and 4 trips to the final and 3 rings) . I fail to see this lack of experience you speak of.

Let's also bring up the record of the coaches
Vigneault has made 3 trips to the playoffs as a coach in 7 years of coaching winning 2 playoff series. Quennville has made 10 trips to the playoffs in 12 years, winning 7 series.

Vancouver is the team with the lack of experience.

For last night's tying goal, Vancouver's Willie Mitchell tried to clear the puck up the boards, but it hit Andrew Ladd. Ladd passed the puck to Havlat, and Havlat scored. Why does Dave Bolland get an assist on that goal? Bolland may have touched the puck before Mitchell, but Mitchell clearly had possession?

Then on the overtime goal, I think Havlat passed the puck off Keith's skate before it getting to Bolland, who shot it and Ladd tipped it in. So should Havlat get the assist since he made the pass, or should it be Keith since technically he touched the puck later than Havlat?

Answer: who cares who got the assist as long as the HAWKS WON! i guarantee any of those guys would trade in a point for a win!
