Question: Does having long legs in hockey really help?
I'm 5'7" tall 5'8" on the ice. Everyone says that i'm really fast on the ice cause I got long legs. The coach thinks its true cause he worked with a lot of fast people and they got long legs.
Does having long legs really help?
Answer: It depends on how you use them and how well-conditioned they are. Haha... but if you're fast, maybe you know how to use the long strides your legs provide. They certainly CAN help, if "used" to your advantage.
Question: I know Hespeler makes good sticks but are their leg pads reliable for ice hockey?
Answer: A guy in my cul-de-sac has a pair and likes them; he plays in a house league with other men who have "aged to perfection".
Are they the greatest pads ever...no. Better than Tour? Youbetcha.
