Question: Is it possible to fix a goalie pad buckle?
I was playing goalie at a local outdoor inline hockey rink and when i went to make a save a slapshot happened to hit the middle buckle of my goalie pad. and it broke. the female part of the buckle broke that is, not the male part. so now it really wont hold on my leg good at all. the strap that holds the female part is sewn into the pad, i really dont have the money to go buy a new set, is there any way to fix this?
Answer: It should be an easy repair for someone who has the right sewing machine. Ask your local hockey shop for a repair contact. Shouldn't take long, and better than trying to fix it yourself, and a hell of a lot cheaper than a new set of pads.

Alright, I need some new pads and I have narrowed it down to two choices...the RBK 6k turco break and the Brians dx5...but i am not sure which to pick!
i am strongly a butterfly goalie and i slide alot...so i need help
Answer: I would pick the Reebok pads. I'm a butterfly goalie and I use Reebok and they work just fine for me
