Snow had no experience as a GM, yet traded away prospects and picks for a rental payer just to finish 8th and get knocked out int he first round. Agree that Milbury traded away the future to win immediately, and he couldn't do that either. Poor drafting in the last decade, where they were taking Euros who would never sign with the team instead of good Canadian junior players. Trading Luongo, Jokinen, Brewer, Chara, draft picks, etc. Now it's all about saving money and meeting the minimum payroll required by the league, which was one of the same issues back in the mid-90's when this mess really started.

I almost wish the Lighthouse project gets denied, so Wang-off will sell the team to people who actually know how to run a hockey club. Unfortunately, that will probably result in the team re-locating.
