Question: NHL Fantasy Team... Drop DiPietro for Fernandez or Gerber?
Like I said, I have Rick DiPietro (of New York Islanders) as my backup goalie right now (in my fantasy team), and Cam Ward (of Carolina) as my starter... I know right... Not the best pair...
But DiPietro is on the IR (Injured Reserve) through December, and I wanted to know if I should drop him, and add either Manny Fernandez (of Boston) or Martin Gerber (of Ottawa) to take his place, or keep him and wait till he is off the IR.
Please help!! They are on the Free Agent list as of right now.

Answer: not sure how much longer he'll be out for, may not be past december and if you drop him now chances are someone will pick him off and you'll be a starting goalie short.
what you should do is drop one of your useless forwards and pick up fernandez (gerber is crap), and that way you'll have dipietro when he comes back.
