Answer: you could probably get away with using them, however I wouldn't recommend it. ice hockey gloves and much more outer protection and if you were to take a shot on the top of your hand with a roller Hockey Glove on, something might end up broken

Question: Pro Hockey in Maryland? Is that possible?
If the Idaho Steelheads, Utah Grizzlies, Alaska Aces, and Bakersfield Condors all work well, I think Baltimore, Maryland could support an AHL or ECHL team. We have the 1st Mariner Arena which holds 11,286 for hockey, and resembles the MTS Center in Winnipeg. Baltimore has previously hosted the Skipjacks, Bandits, Clippers, and Blades, so the city is no stranger to hockey. This September the Capitals and Predators play and exhibition game there. How about the Maryland Maroons andf bring back the Montreal Maroons logo?
Answer: Supposedly, the city of Baltimore was looking at building a 15-17K arena as part of a mixed-use development (the company I work for were solicited for a project in the city a few years ago...didn't work for us and we passed on any involvement) in downtown Baltimore with an eye on a multi-use arena (the person I spoke with when said they would try to get an AHL team as a tenant- either Washington or Philadelphia would probably make the most sense geographically) but nothing has come of it and we passed on being part of the project (which thus far appears to be as dead as Elvis).
The individual I met with thought they could handle AHL hockey, concerts, an AFL (arena league) team, and some other events.
Make of this what you will.
