Question: Searching for Ceramic (not pyrex) erlenmeyer type coffee cup?
I am looking for a ceramic (not pyrex) travel mug (coffee cup) in the shape of an erlenmeyer flask with handle (they have a rubber pad on the bottom too).
Answer: http://www.amazon.com/Empty-Normal-Large-Neck-Erlenmeyer/dp/B000HLLE20
Amazon.com has it for $11.95 and reading the product description says it is ceramic. This is a mug and not a "flask" and when I look for a flask, all I get is laboratory flasks! Hope this is what you were looking for, if not, sorry, I tried.

Question: A cup of coffee at 196 degrees is poured into a mug and left in a room at 73 degrees.?
A cup of coffee at 196 degrees is poured into a mug and left in a room at 73 degrees. After 7 minutes, the coffee is 147 degrees. Assume that the differential equation describing Newton's Law of Cooling is (in this case) dT/dt= k(T-73)
A) Solve the differential equation and find k =
B) What is the temperature of the coffee after 17 minutes?
C) After how many minutes will the coffee be 100 degrees?
Answer: This is a separable differential equation:
dT/dt = k*(T - 73)
dT/(T-73) = kdt
ln(T-73) - ln(c) = k*t
where ln(c) is the constant of integration.
ln((T-73)/c) = k*t
The cup is initially (at t = 0) at 196 deg, so
ln((196-73)/c) = 0
(196-73) = c = 123
Now go back and solve for k. When t = 7min, T = 147 deg, so:
ln((147-73)/123) = k*7min
k = [ln(74/123)]/7min
k = -0.0726/min
So:
T(t) = 73 + c*exp(k*t) = 73 + 123*exp(-0.0726*t/min)
The temperature at t = 17min is:
T(17min) = 73 + 123*exp(-0.0726*17) = 108.8 deg
Going back to the logarithmic form of the solution:
ln((T-73)/123)*min/(-0.0726) = t
The coffee is 100 deg when:
ln((100-73)/123)*min/(-0.0726) = t
t = 20.9 min

Question: These bandwagon hawks fans are pissing me off?
I'm a high school student in suburban Chicago and a die-hard Detroit Red Wings fan. I have been a Wings fan since i was four and still have a poster of Sergei Fedorov in my room. I am by no means, a band-wagoner. But WTF is with all these kids and their brand-spankin' new walmart Kane and Toews shirts and "Khabibulin is definitely the best goalie in the league" comments? and now some kid is calling the Bruins "The B's" even though he's seen like 10 hockey games in his life. This is kind of a rant, i know. And i know kids "follow the trends" and "the city is ramping up for hockey" and "the positive attention is only good for the growth of the game" but what were they doing when their team was finishing 2nd in the division and 4th in the conference en route to their first playoff berth since 2002 and playing in the Winter Classic? The same thing they'll be doing this January, i presume.
End rant. Thanks for bearing with me.Answer: DUDE!!! YOU ARE FREAKIN' AWESOME!!!!
I am also a high school kid that loves the red wings!!! I have pictures of Steve Yzerman and like 5 pictures of Brendan Shanahan in my room, plus the current wings.I live in Pittsburgh, though. (Ick, the penguins.) pens fans are also really bad with the crosby, malkin, staal, fleury. They automatically think that the pens are the only talented players. They do get their shirts from wal- mart and don't know how to pronounce half of the names, lol!! I got a lot of sh*t from the playoffs last year, because the wings beat pens, and I really don't care because if you ask those fans what icing was, they would say the sweet stuff on chocolate cake!!
I so totally understand what you are going through.
But, hey, GO WINGS!!!!
haha, thanks for listening to my rant!

Question: Do you like drinking Faygo soda? Why or why not?
Faygo soda celebrated its centennial this year and has been around for 100 years. Faygo is known for being less costly as national brand sodas and is made in Detroit, Michigan. Some of their flavors included Regular Cola, Red Pop (Strawberry), Diet Rasberry Cream, Orange, and Peach.
Do you like drinking Faygo soda? Why or why not? Also, what is you favorite flavors of Faygo to drink?
To learn more about Faygo, you can go to their website at http://www.faygo.com.
Answer: Hello:
Are you kidding me? I have lived in Michigan all of my life,and EVERYBODY IN MICHIGAN knows about Faygo pop! I LOVE Faygo pop and I think it is really sad that it isn't carried in alot of other states because if you ever travel down to the southern states the people will say,"What's Faygo pop?" I know that Tennessee has a pop down there called,"Sundrop,"and it is kind of like Michigan's version of Mello Yello or Mountain Dew.My friend Lisa is from Tennessee,so that is how I know about sundrop pop.
Anyhoo,I love ALOT of different flavors of Faygo,but my two favorite flavors are their grape flavored pop,and their Faygo red pop,yummy! Does anyone else remember in the mid 1990's when Faygo had out a flavor called,"Cherry Festival?" Yep,they did,and they only made it for a little while,but it was so good,it is too bad that they discontinued it!
