Question: I am wondering what to wear to a Red Wings hockey game in Dec.?

The seats are in the lower bowl and 18 rows up. I want to be comfortable with the temperature more than anything. I have two ideas a fleece type sweater or a zip-up sweatshirt. Can anyone give me tips on how cold or warm it may get and what I will be comfortable in (temp. wise?) What to wear underneath or at all? Thanks

Answer: Either of your ideas will work fine. I usually wear a jersey with either a Long Sleeve t-shirt or hooded sweatshirt underneath during the winter games and am always comfortable.

Question: Is a tie blanket a stupid idea for a Christmas present?

My boyfriend and I have been together for about two years. I'm 19 and he is 21. I was going to make him a fleece tie blanket for Christmas...I wanted to make it with Detroit Red Wings fabric...but I can't find it anywhere. Would it be dumb to just make it black and red (red wings colors). Is a blanket a stupid idea?? I mean he will probably just make fun of me if it is stupid lol but I want to make him something he'll actually like. I'm buying him something else that I know he has been wanting as well...but I like homemade gifts better.

Answer: its a good idea. I like it. I did a cursory look through Jo-Ann's and Hancock Fabrics. Both have sports team fleeces but no Red Wings. I'd still suggest going to a fabric store and talking to a manager about ordering some, if available. If you can't get it or it will take to long, consider plain red and white fleeces.

Question: Need to find some fleece fabric to make a tie blanket that has the print of the Detroit Red Wings on it?

need to make my son a fleece blanket the kind you can tie together and have to fine some fleece with the Detriot Red Wings on it. None of our local fabric stores carry it.

Answer: Hancock's fabrics carries a lot of team fabrics in cotton and fleece. Although, I'm not sure about hockey teams. Are you sure it's even available (printed)? Good luck.
