Checking Ebay for Pro Stock Stick products...
Question: Does anyone know where I can purchase NHL pro stock or NHL pro return sticks or equipment?
I have heard these are available but I found no such site selling them.
Answer: The best place to get pro-stock equipment is http://eastwesthockey.net/
There stick selection is great and I have purchased a few pair of gloves from them. The stock moves pretty quickly though.
Tex Habs - The last order I placed Jason was there. He is really efficient and always gets back to me quickly. The gloves are the best. I purchased the Easton Blackouts and Bauer 4-rolls from him. I also had a friend get some of the Bauer One90s a while back in a 95 flex which is so rare. It was perfect for him because he was buying 102 and cutting them so they got stiffer, but cutting the 95 flex made it about a 102. Great site.
Never tried Cyclone, I have heard of them, but it seems like more and more websitets like Hockeymonkey and icewarehouse are starting to get som pro-stock.
Another great place to shop for Pro Stock Stick is on Amazon. They have more than just books!

Question: Pro-Stock Sticks are better. Does anyone know the process why? How are they made differently, specifically.?
Answer: For starters, the custom blade patterns are made through the manufacturing process of the players' choosing.
The majority of retail blades are manufactured through compression molding of prepreg graphite. This process has a relatively fast cure time and results in a fairly consistent weight but, it feels different and is less robust a process than RTM.
RTM (Resin Transfer Molding) is an injected molding process that makes a stiffer and harder blade which many pro players prefer. When made properly, this manufacturing process yields a tougher, more durable product than prepreg does.
With regards to shaft manufacturing, the biggest difference between retail and pro are the materials used. The pros get the highest end, lightweight materials and the manufacturing process for pro product has much tighter specs and tolerances than its retail equivalent.
Overall, the weight and flex tolerances for pro sticks are twice as stringent as those at retail. Whereas a retail stick can be +/- 30 grams of target weight specs and +/- 10 lbs of target flex, NHL sticks are within 15 grams and 5 lbs of the defined specs.
The NHL stick exposure game is a very competitive one and the players can be finicky and temperamental when it comes to the tools of their trade. As such, a company needs to deliver a consistent, high performance product in speedy fashion to have any chance at success in the NHL stick biz.
The stakes for exposure are so high, however, that most manufacturers will negotiate all the hoops, obstacles and challenges to have their Brand used by the best players in the world.
